The Disney Meal Plan WILL RETURN! – Inside the magic

Hungry while visiting the most magical place on Earth? Today, the Disney Parks Blog tells us that the Disney meal plan will return at a later date – hopefully this year, although that has not been confirmed. While Disney is not ready to release the official calendar, this long-standing planning tool from Walt Disney World is welcome to come back ASAP, so we can start eating!

The Disney Meal Plan WILL RETURN!

Straight from the Disney Parks blog, we hear the news after hearing about the renewal of “magic overtime (sort of)” for some Disney hotel guests. The copy describes customers’ concern about the return of the “DDP” as they anxiously plan their vacations:

Speaking of Disney Resort hotel stays, we know many of you are also wondering when Disney meal plan packages will be back. While we’re not quite ready to share a schedule update, we plan to bring back this customer favorite option at a later date. We will also continue to reopen more resort offerings, including restaurants like “Ohana (with the noodles!).”

And, buddy, are we going to snack on those “Ohana noodles!” Restaurants such as Casey’s Corner, Trail’s End and Citricos recently announced reopening dates, which is important for the return of the Disney Dining Plan. The prepaid meal plan relies on opening almost every restaurant in Disney World to accommodate guests, and with the current offers, guests would either be turned down or unable to use their paid credits, which would be terrible! As we see more and more Walt Disney World Resort restaurants open, we’ll be closer to the return of the Disney Dining Plan.

With so much excitement in the air, we can’t wait to get home during “The World’s Most Magical Celebration!”
