Dine in the Delta at Okavango Explorers CampBotswana
The newest property in the Great Plains portfolio, Okavango Explorers Camp is a six-bed camp located within the 160,000 hectare Selinda Private Game Reserve in Botswana. The abundant water makes the Okavango Delta safari scene truly unique, with the extraordinary annual flooding through the waterways and canals bringing a cinematic feel to the region. It is in this water that customers can choose to live an unparalleled gastronomic experience and dine with their toes in the water. After a day spent spotting leopards and lions, the camp’s dedicated team can arrange a lantern-lit ‘floating’ dining experience on the weir. Here, diners will watch the colors of the sunset change and reflect off the water around the table every moment, accompanied by the sounds of birds flying to their nests overhead.
The interactive kitchen Duba Plains CampBotswana
At Duba Plains Camp, located in Botswana’s 33,000-acre Duba Plains Game Reserve, one of the most frequently asked questions after supper is “how can we do this at home?”. Thanks to the new “Interactive Kitchen” experience, customers no longer have to wonder! From the purpose-built interactive kitchen at the heart of the camp, guests can sit, watch and learn as world-class chefs concoct a gourmet tasting menu with expert food and wine pairings. Combining international dishes with local touches, the team will talk about the process of creating each delicious dish, adapting the recipes to everyone’s taste.
Gastronomy in suite at Mara Plains CampKenya
