Man Jailed After Threatening To Kill Victim While ‘Foaming Mouth’ At Haven Resort
An aggressive holidaymaker who “was foamy in his mouth” as he threatened to kill a passerby has been jailed.
Barry Houghton, 49, started an argument with another guest and hurled abuse at them while staying at a Haven resort in Wales.
Llandudno Magistrates’ Court heard that Joshua Burt was on holiday with his family when Houghton, who appeared to have been ‘drugged’, targeted him at the Hafan y Mor holiday park.

Houghton thought Mr Burt was looking at him, so he approached him with his noticeably large pupils and stood in front of him on May 21.
He then touched his forehead with his and called Burt a ‘fat little p****’ and said he would ‘fill it up’, North Wales Live reports.
Shocked witnesses said he had “white foam around his lips” during the bizarre altercation.
The court previously heard that the victim’s partner and the defendant’s daughter then became involved and there was a “back and forth” between everyone.
Both parties left but after Mr. Burt went to the Spar store, there was another confrontation. where Houghton told him, “I’ll f****** kill you.”
The police were called and officers arrested Houghton. But Houghton further assaulted Mr. Burt by grabbing the back of his head. The victim thought he was about to be headbutted.
Houghton, who appeared via a video link from HMP Berwyn, pleaded guilty to common assault and was jailed for four weeks.
Tudor Owen, defending, said the assault amounted to a push.
Magistrates’ chairman Alwen Davies told Houghton: “It was a really unpleasant incident.”
She jailed him for four weeks for common assault, but that would coincide with the three-year sentence the defendant is already serving for an unrelated offense of possession of Class A drugs.
