When you start your journey in Forza Horizon 5, rapid movements are very limited. On the map are houses that you can buy with credits earned through shopping and various other activities, with prizes ranging from a few hundred thousand to several million credits. Every home you buy becomes a fast travel node. You can designate a house as your “home” when visiting it and it will be a fast and free travel destination. The rest initially costs 10,000 credits each time you teleport to another house, a hefty price tag at the start of Forza.

Open your map and hover your cursor over one of your houses. Select it and a pop-up window will tell you the price of the fast trip and ask you to confirm. Say yes, and you’ll be whisked away to begin your journey from your destination.

How to unlock a fast ride to any road

There are only a handful of houses, and the map of Forza Horizon 5 is huge. Wouldn’t it be better if you could instantly teleport to any road? The good news is, you can. Buying the Buenas Vistas house comes with a quick trip anywhere, but it does require investing a little time and a lot of credit.

First of all, you need to focus on the shipments. These are the greatest racing adventures that are unlocked as you progress through the game. There are five groups of Expeditions. Completing the first entry in a group unlocks houses and other miscellaneous destinations in a region. The Buenas Vistas House is available once the Guanajuato Expedition is complete.

Unlocking the Buenas Vistas house is the easy part. Now you have to pay for the place. With 2 million credits, this is one of the most expensive properties in Forza Horizon 5. Plan to complete lots of races and make sure to use your wheels every time you level up. It will take some time, but the extensive fast travel is well worth the cost.

Now that you’ve spent all your money, fast traveling at 10,000 credits per pop can be a luxury you can’t afford (that’s Forza’s avocado toast). But there is a way to get it at a reduced price and possibly for free. This is where fast travel boards come in.

Fast Travel Signs are large rectangular signs scattered across Mexico. Each time you run over one, it permanently reduces the cost of Fast Moves by 200 credits. There are 50 in total, so you have to destroy them all if you want to travel fast and at no cost. Keep an eye out for the lightning bolt symbol on your map as you drive and take the time to look for them. Do it and you are finally free to travel the country.
