Hero Electronix, the tech company of the Hero group, plans to launch smart sunglasses as well as action cameras with vision to create a new ecosystem of connected devices, a senior company executive said on Wednesday.
The brand has expanded its line of smart home devices with two new products: Qubo Smart Cam 360 and Qubo Smart Door Lock.
âIn the last year, we’ve seen 8x the growth (year over year). We have sold around 75,000 devices and these devices are completely self-built. We are launching new cameras with different usage but in the future we will also be adding new devices like smart sunglasses as well as action cameras, âHero Electronix CEO Nikhil Rajpal told IANS.
The expansion comes at a time when the need for affordable connected smart devices is skyrocketing in the country.
Priced at Rs 2,890, the AI-powered 360 smart camera is a good addition not only to smart homes, but also small offices and businesses, to provide 24/7 security and complete peace of mind.
âAt Qubo, our long-term goal is to create products for the smart home, automotive and healthcare. With our new product launches today, we complement the smart home portfolio. Our primary focus over the course of of this brand building process has been to develop globally competitive products with AI and supporting the Indian environment, âRajpal added.
Qubo Smart 360 Cam will be available at offline points of sale and major e-commerce portals, including Amazon, as well as on Qubo’s own website.
Qubo Smart Door Lock will be available in two variants. Qubo Smart Door Lock Black will be priced at Rs 13,990 and Qubo Smart Door Lock Ultra at Rs 22,990.
With the launch of the Qubo home security camera, Hero Electronix has stated that it is committed to launching more than 10 smart products in home automation, automotive and entertainment fields over the next two years.
The company said it is also expanding its Qubo product line to meet the needs of the entire range of Indian consumers, including early and new users of the smart home ecosystem.
