A leader in business acceleration, Growth Africa Startups has signed seven new emerging startups into the portfolio of companies under its advisory leadership.

According to the Managing Director of Growth Africa Startups, Mr. Samuel Ajiboyede, the seven startups were selected from a list of more than 50 upcoming companies that participated in a free executive management training and mentoring program organized by the company in partnership with the Lagos Business School.

According to Ajiboyede, startups that have been officially signed by his company include Pillplus, a social platform that allows patients to easily connect with qualified doctors for their healthcare needs; Payslice, a platform that offers business credit to cover operational costs and gives employees instant access to their earnings; Schrow – a Fintech that builds trust between trading parties and Looptel – a last mile telecommunications infrastructure provider providing access to voice and data communications.

Also included are Famebirds – an influencer marketing platform that connects influencers with business brands to promote their products and services and achieve more sales and growth;

Traveloptions – a hospitality company that uses modern technology to redefine the travel experience; and FabricEight – an Afro-centric clothing brand that specializes in producing casual wear, painting beautiful African history in a wearable piece and promoting black culture through unique clothing and style.

Talking about the acceptance of the seven startups, Ajiboyede noted that with the agreement documents signed, his company will now provide the necessary guidance to the startups by giving them access to the market and financing to grow in the shortest possible time.

“What we have done is officially engage these seven enterprising startups from the long list of startups that have completed our free Lagos Business School executive management training and mentorship program.

“The agreement we have signed with them is to offer an advisory role as a member of the board of directors of these companies. Thanks to our more than two decades of experience in the field of technology and our relationships with local and foreign investors, we also offer them access to funds that will allow them to quickly develop their idea and conquer the market.

“These seven companies under our leadership are game changers and we are optimistic that with our guidance and leadership, they will be Africa’s next billion dollar entrepreneurs,” Ajiboyede said.
