Exodus Travels launches new adventurer-led expeditions for 2022
Adventure travel company Exodus Travels announced a new range of routes in partnership with the Royal Canadian Geographical Society (RCGS), “RCGS Exodus Quests. ”
This series, aimed at curious and intrepid travelers, offers a range of diverse experiences ranging from the mysterious Valley of the Kings and the alleys perfumed with spices Marrakech, the hot springs and mud baths of Rincón de la Vieja to the ancient towns of Kathmandu Valley and the annual migration of wildebeest and zebras in Kenya. Some of the highlights include:
“Southern Africa Cape Town to Vic Falls with Mario Rigby“
This African journey of The cap To Victoria Falls will take travelers through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. The tour will be led by Mario rigby, known for his two-year, 7,500-mile solo trip from Cape Town to Cairo, entirely on foot and by kayak.
Along the way, travelers can explore the tall red dunes of Sossusvlei, the elephant filled Chobe National Park, colossal sand dunes and mesmerizing lunar landscapes Deadvlei; and cross Etosha national park in search of zebras, cheetahs, lions and giraffes. The 20-day tour begins February 20, 2022 and prices start at $ 5,899.
“Egypt – Alexandria to Aswan with George Kourounis”
With temples and tombs around every corner, ancient history awaits travelers on this 13-day tour led by a RCGS filmmaker, photographer and explorer in residence, Georges kourounis. Exchange travel and expedition reports, learn about Kourounis’ work with National Geographic, and acquire new photographic techniques and skills by exploring the Giza pyramids and the Great Sphinx and savor the fresh seafood from Alexandria. The tour includes a three-night river cruise on the Nile. The 13-day tour departs March 25, 2022 and prices start from $ 3,349.
“Kenya photo safari with Scott Forsyth“
Travelers can experience the African safari in Kenya with the famous RCGS photographer in residence Scott Forsyth. He would be available to help guests capture and commemorate Kenya’s stunning scenery and iconic wildlife.
In addition to the elusive white rhinos and leopards of Lake nakuru national park, and the hippos and flamingos along Lake Naivasha, travelers will observe one of nature’s most breathtaking spectacles: The great migration of the Masai Mara. Watch thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross a river overrun by crocodiles on their annual journey through the savannah on this seven-day trip that departs September 11, 2022. Prices start at $ 4,579.
“Highlights of Morocco with Aliya Jasmine Sovani“
This 15-day tour explores Moroccothe towns of and beyond to the sand dunes and kasbahs mountain ranges in the south, striking villages in the High Atlas Mountains; desert oases and palm groves; and stroll through the craftsmen’s workshops along the superb beaches and surf perfectly in the fishing port of Essaouira. A camel ride in the Sahara and overnight in a Bedouin camp.

“Albania Highlights with John Geiger“
Snow-capped mountains, beaches and pastoral rural villages feature in this 10-day tour led by the international bestselling author, dynamic speaker and CEO of RCGS, John geiger.
The itinerary includes the artists’ paradises in Voskopoje, a panoramic view of the Gramos mountains, ancient Greek sites in Llogara National Park, and the narrow, cobbled streets of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Berat. Travelers will also follow in the footsteps of Julius Caesar on the site where his fights against Pompeii have been won. The tour begins July 5, 2022 and its price starts at $ 1,949.
“Volcanoes and beaches in Costa Rica with Andrew Lovesey“
Andrew Lovesey, adventure influencer and director at Canadian geography and the RCGS, will lead the tour which proposes to drift along the aquamarine waters of the Rio Celeste on a river tube, surf the famous white sand Tamarindo Beach, see the jungle from a new perspective as you fly over the rainforest on a zipline and finally relax with mineral-rich hot springs and mud baths. The eight-day tour starts from $ 2,634 and begins January 22, 2022.
“Highlights of Nepal with photographer Javier Frutos“
This Nepal photography expedition will be led by RCGS Photographer and Canadian Geographic Creative Director Javier Frutos. The tour will explore the cultural highlights of Bhaktapur and Kathmandu and the colorful boats revealing Pokhara; the charming villages of the Annapurna Hills; and the incredible fauna of Chitwan. A jeep, foot and canoe safari will also be offered, as travelers attempt to spot tigers, rhinos, crocodiles and sloth bears. The 12-day tour priced at $ 3,279 departs April 4, 2022.
