EF Go Ahead Tours expands to Africa : Travel Weekly

EF Guided Tours has new destinations and departure dates in Africa set to launch this summer as it continues to expand its portfolio of offers on the continent.

The specialist in customized tours and group travel is launching its new 12-day Tanzania Wildlife Safari Tour itinerary on July 4 for groups of six to 18 people. The safari adventure will include visits to a number of national parks, including Serengeti and Tarangire National Parks, and will also include educational opportunities for guests to learn about local sustainability and conservation efforts.

Guests can expect up to eight game drives with expert local guides while visiting reserve areas that are home to lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and Cape buffaloes, among other Big Game wildlife. Game. A three-night extension trip after the visit to Zanzibar is also available to add to the itinerary.

Ghana is also a new destination in EF Go Ahead Tours’ Africa portfolio this year and features an itinerary focused on sustainability. The company launched its 12-day Ghana Adventure itinerary: Accra to Cape Coast in March and has more departures available later this year in October and November.

The tour focuses on culture, arts, history and adventure opportunities in the West African nation for groups of 12-22 travelers. Highlights of the itinerary include a visit to a cocoa farm, a treetop excursion in Kakum National Park, and a visit to Trashy Bags Africa, a local cooperative of women who make bags eco-friendly recycled and other items from plastic waste.
